Learning is a social activity. We aim to build student learning around the concept of social networking. The project will allow students from specific areas of The Gordon to use eportfolios to experience belonging to one or many groups, creating a space for connecting with others who share the same interests. Learners can collaborate and share ideas via the group function.
Students will be required to develop online eportfolios of their experience and learning and use these to connect and share views with other interested people in forums.
The group function in Eportfolios caters to the fundamental awareness that there is a shift occurring towards learning, teaching, technology, and learner needs in a climate where learning is no longer perceived as confined to formal education.
